Cyberpunk 2077: CD Projekt RED revealed the most reported bugs
The list of bugs and errors that users still encounter while playing Cyberpunk 2077 can be released as a small book. To some bugs and glitches gamers do not pay attention, but there are those that simply cannot be ignored.
Information about the most common bugs has appeared on the official CD Projekt Red website. There are only three items on the list, although there are suspicions that there are many more.
According to tech support, one of the most popular glitches in the game is related to Takemura's character. It is an interesting fact that it was supposed to be fixed immediately after launch, but this did not happen.
In the «Play It Safe» mission, users must wait for Takemura to call them before they can continue the main mission, but due to a bug, the call is not received. The developers supposedly fixed the bug with Hot Fix 1.05, released just weeks after the game launched for PC and consoles back in 2020.
Takemura's bug is the biggest issue in the game as of June 24, 2021
Besides the Takemura bug, the top 3 includes:
- Cyberpsycho Sighting: Smoke on the Water — even if the quest is completed, it remains in the journal without goals;
- Sweet Dreams — due to the absence of Stefan, it is impossible to complete the quest.
Players who want to try Cyberpunk 2077 are recommended to play on newer consoles or PC
Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to be one of the biggest games of the last generation. The open-world action-adventure title was first announced in 2012 and since then the game has become one of the most anticipated releases of all time.
Although CD Projekt Red is working hard to release patches and «hot fixes», it's unclear when the game will reach its desired status. Recently, the studio faced a hacking problem that resulted in the theft of The Witcher 3 source code, as well as the source code for Cyberpunk 2077.
However, despite the many problems that CD Projekt Red has faced since its December 2020 launch, there is hope that the game will one day become the perfect embodiment of what gamers have been hoping for since the very first day of the announcement.
CDPR still plans to release an update for the next generation later this year
The update, coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, will be free for those who already own the game. A release date has yet to be confirmed, although the studio has also announced plans to release a similar update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
