Super Girl Gamer Series 2021 Starts With Valorant

On May 15, the Super Girl Gamer series of tournaments kicked off, featuring professional and female fans of esports disciplines such as CS:GO, League of Legends, Hearthstone, and Fortnite. 

The Super Girl Gamer spring season started with the Valorant. It consists of a four-week series of open qualifiers and will culminate with the Valorant Championships on June 12.

The prize money is small compared with the male tournaments — only $10 000, but the most important fact here that women's tournaments are held and get the support of famous brands, companies, and organizations. The tournament is hosted by ASA Entertainment; the The Super Girl Gamer series sponsors are Zenni Gaming, Nissan, Twitch, Space Production, and the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

For the fifth year in a row, Super Girl Gamer is the only multi-title women's tournament series in the United States and it's a great opportunity for aspiring female pro gamers and helping female esports amateurs to get their start in the esports industry.

The tournament series includes summer and fall seasons, which will run through November 21. Also, there will be the winter season. According to ASA Entertainment, the Super Girl Gamer summer season will consist of Hearthstone, League of Legends, and CS:GO tournaments. In the fall, along with Fortnite, VALORANT awaits us again.

In total, $100 000 will be drawn for the series: in cash and prizes

She called it a «great step» and noted how important events like this are for creating opportunities for women in esports. She also added that «it’s been gratifying to watch the progress Super Girl has made over the past five years».

The organizers of the event, ASA Entertainment, have stated that they will do everything in their power to achieve high production values by recruiting qualified staff and production crews for the tournament, in addition to their on-air presenters and company sponsors. The move is also an attempt to set an example for the rest of the esports industry by showing them how successful female esports tournaments can be.

Super Girl Gamer has a lot of experience in organizing exciting and large-scale tournaments. In fact, it is the sister of the long-established Super Girl Pro, which has been showcasing the skills of some of the world's top female sports athletes for 15 years.

Valorant Qualifiers are held weekly on Saturdays from May 15 to June 5 from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm ET. The next qualifying date is May 22, 2021. The Valorant Championship then kicks off on Saturday, June 12, from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm ET.

The Super Girl Gamer Series will be streaming live on Twitch and Facebook Gaming.
